Dave Hyde Sports Columnist Prediction:

Dolphins 13, Jaguars

6

Season record:

12-2

Comment: Jacksonville has lost nine of its past

10 games, has one road win and somehow went from the worst quarterback in the league in Blake Bortles to an even worse Cody Kessler. A holiday gift for the Dolphins.

Omar Kelly Dolphins Writer/ Columnist

Prediction: Dolphins 17, Jaguars 14 Season record: 9-5

Comment: The Dolphins have been terrible on the road, but own a 6-1 record at home. The dysfunctional Jaguars have waved the white flag on their season, so if Jacksonville pulls off an upset, we might need to search for the panic button.

Kathy Laughlin Sports Editor Prediction:

Dolphins 27, Jaguars

14

Season record:

11-3

Comment: The Jaguars are sticking with struggling quarterback Cody Kessler, who threw for just 57 yards last week. This is the kind of game the Dolphins need right now: playing a 4-10 team at Hard Rock Stadium, where Miami is 6-1 this year.

Keven Lerner Assistant Sports Editor Prediction:

Dolphins 20, Jaguars

13

Season record:

9-5

Comment: The Dolphins will do their part to keep their slim playoff hopes alive. The Jaguars have one of the worst offenses in the NFL, ranking 26th. They have scored only one offensive touchdown in the past three games.

Steve Svekis Assistant Sports Editor Prediction:

Dolphins 29, Jaguars

10

Season record:

10-4

Comment: The defense is going to get a lot of pent-up frustration out against Cody Kessler, who has two touchdown passes but has been saddled with two interceptions and four fumbles, caused during his ugly 17 sacks in 131 dropbacks.
