He’s known as Pleasure P of the R&B group Pretty Ricky, and Miami Beach police have accused him of driving recklessly while intoxicated Friday along the MacArthur Causeway.

Marcus Ramone Cooper, 34, had been celebrating his birthday, he told police. They say he was driving over 100 mph in a 45 mph zone, weaved between lanes and nearly crashed into another car before he was stopped at 3:45 a.m. in front of the Jungle Island attraction.

As an officer was handcuffing him, Cooper identified himself as Pleasure P of Pretty Ricky. Cooper asked to speak with his lawyer, a police supervisor, retired NBA star Shaquille O’Neal and singer-songwriter Flo Rida, the arrest report said.

Cooper, who gave police an address for a UPS store in Davie, refused to participate in a field sobriety test, the report said.

At the station, Cooper’s breath test measured .17, which is more than double the state legal limit of .08 for driving under the influence.

Cooper faces charges of resisting an officer without violence, driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license with knowledge and reckless driving. He was released from a Miami-Dade county jail on Friday.
