MorseLife brought Hollywood elegance and the glamour of the silver screen to the candlelit Dinner Dance celebrating the organization’s 35th anniversary on Dec. 21 at The Breakers.
MorseLife Health System President and CEO Keith Myers, thanking the donors who have partnered with the nonprofit throughout the years, said, “We are celebrating 35 years of generosity and commitment by MorseLife philanthropists, and how they have successfully served as architects for creating a tradition of excellence for the lives of seniors in our care.”
The program featured performances by the Kravis Center Orchestra and vocalist Laura Osnes, led by American Pops Conductor Luke Frasier, as well as Broadway entertainer Luke Hawkins paying homage to the dance stylings of Gene Kelly and Fred Astaire. Meanwhile, clips from classic Hollywood films played on a large LED screen in the background.
“Guests at the 2018 MorseLife Dinner Dance attended a spectacular party, complete with dancing, an incredible menu and impressive décor, but they were part of a very special milestone in the legacy of MorseLife,” said Vice President of Events Joan Bever in a statement.
