Martha L. Rosenfield
Martha “Cookie” Rosenfield, nee Robinson, passed away on January 14, 2019 at the age of 79, after a brief battle with cancer. Surrounded by her loving family, she crossed peacefully from the pain of her illness.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts on June, 10, 1939, and raised in Brookline, Massachusetts, Cookie lived a wonderful life with her husband of many years, Leon Rosenfield (deceased), first in Marblehead, MA, and later in Lauderhill, FL. She was the loving daughter of father Louis A. Robinson (deceased), mother Mildred G. Robinson (deceased). She was the younger sister to brother Phillip Robinson (deceased). She is survived by her three children, Neal Rosenthal of Santa Barbara, CA, Debra Anderson of Drexel Hill, PA, and Marc Rosenthal of Phoenix, AZ, her granddaughter, Melissa Anderson of Drexel Hill, PA, and her two stepdaughters, Jill Feder of Roseland, NJ, and Robin Way of Marstons Mills, MA.
Cookie and her husband Leon owned a gift shop together on Cape Cod, MA, where they lived for ten years. They spent most of their golden years in Broward County Florida, where they enjoyed golfing and spending time socializing with friends. After Cookie’s husband passed away, she remained in Delray Beach, Florida, and in the last year had moved to the Phoenix area to be closer to her children. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, and will be missed by all that knew her.
The family will host a private celebration of life. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a local cancer charity, or other charity close to your heart.
