Pasquale “Pat” Perrotta

Pasquale Perrotta Jr., age 75, of Boca Raton, Florida passed away peacefully after fighting pancreatic cancer. Pat was born September 28, 1943 in Brooklyn, New York to Pasquale Perrotta Sr. and Sara Benanti. He graduated from George Westinghou­se Technical High School in 1961 and married Carol Ann Barkey. Pat worked for Service Trucking where his father was Shop Steward and member of the Teamsters Local

#707 and #560. In the early 70’s Pat moved his family from Oakland, NJ to South Florida and opened a Shell gas station in Pompano Beach. He later acquired 2 more service stations and moved his family to Boca Raton near the beach. Pat was hardworkin­g, honest and generous. He enjoyed serving his customers, took pride in his work and loved being an entreprene­ur. He was dedicated to his family, a devoted husband of 56 years, a loving father and an awesome grandpa to his

5 grandchild­ren. Pat loved his family, food, cooking, gardening and traveling. He enjoyed many road trips visiting National Parks, historical places, Hawaii, Canada, Austria and Ireland. Recently, he started playing pickle ball at Sugar Sand Park. He enjoyed meeting new friends, exercising, sweating off a few pounds and building endurance. He loved the game as it reminded him of the old days playing handball in Brooklyn. Pat is survived by his wife, Carol Ann Perrotta; daughter Debbie (Judson) Miller; son Patrick (Theresa) Perrotta; brother, Joe (Marie) Perrotta, sister, Mary (Jack) DeRitter and 5 grandchild­ren, Jeremy, JP, Joseph, Grace and Bridget.
