James Berwind and Kevin Clark hosted a reception for supporters of the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League at their Palm Beach home on Jan. 15.

Guests were members of the Grace Society, which supports the nonprofit, as well as major benefactors of the new Pet Adoption and Human Education Center, a construction project slated to begin this spring at the League’s West Palm Beach campus.

Peggy Adams cares for companion animals in need of protection, care and quality homes. The organization also provides spay, neuter and other medical services for companion animals.

“It is because of our dedicated supporters that we continue to save thousands of animals each year; and with our planned campus expansion, we’ll be able to save thousands more,” said board chairperson Lesly Smith, according to a press release. “By 2024 we will be one of – if not the largest – no-kill communities in the United States.”
