Nothing short of dramatic
Movie producer’s sky-high condo listed for $10.9 million
Hollywood producers may love the high life — but this one is selling his 28th-floor luxury condo in South Beach.
Stan Wertlieb, a principal of Santa Monica, Calif.based Grindstone Entertainment Group, has listed his 3,355-square-foot condominium for $10.9 million.
The four-bedroom condo in the Continuum, at 100 S. Pointe Drive, is in SoFi (South of Fifth), an affluent neighborhood at the southern tip of Miami Beach.
“The Continuum is known for exclusivity, privacy and resort-style living,” said Bo Mastykaz, director of luxury sales at Douglas Elliman Real Estate in Miami.
Features of the home include four full and onehalf baths, a private elevator, over 500 square feet of private balcony space and views of the Atlantic Ocean, Port of Miami, Fisher Island, South Beach and the Miami skyline.
The Continuum offers resort-type amenities, such as a lagoon-style pool, three tennis courts, a poolside restaurant, beach club, gym and spa. “It’s closer to Upper East Side living,” Mastykaz said. “It’s exclusive — you don’t have the hustle and bustle of the rest of Miami Beach.”
The condominium, which sits on 14 acres, is actually comprised of two separate units, which were combined and reconfigured by movie producer Wertlieb after he bought the second one in 2014.
Mastykaz said a lot of potential buyers from the northeast have looked at the unit and that he expects it to sell to a full-time resident. “South of Fifth has really become a destination for tax refugees,” he added.
