Pace Cen­ter clients share sto­ries dur­ing lun­cheon

Nearly 500 guests came out in sup­port of the Pace Cen­ter for Girls Broward, which raised more than $170,000 dur­ing its Be­liev­ing in Girls Em­pow­er­ment Lun­cheon on March 1 at Pier Sixty-Six in Fort Lauderdale.

The guests of honor were Pace Cen­ter clients who took to the plat­form to share their sto­ries of em­pow­er­ment and achiev­ing their goals with the help of the non­profit, which pro­vides ed­u­ca­tion, coun­sel­ing, train­ing and ad­vo­cacy.

“We see so much prom­ise in our girls, prom­ise that de­serves to be nour­ished to en­sure suc­cess­ful, ful­fill­ing and positive fu­tures for each one,” said Re­gional Ex­ec­u­tive Direc­tor Ag­gie Pap­pas. “We’re grate­ful to of­fer them the re­sources to help them grow and suc­ceed.”
