Nearly 500 guests came out in support of the Pace Center for Girls Broward, which raised more than $170,000 during its Believing in Girls Empowerment Luncheon on March 1 at Pier Sixty-Six in Fort Lauderdale.
The guests of honor were Pace Center clients who took to the platform to share their stories of empowerment and achieving their goals with the help of the nonprofit, which provides education, counseling, training and advocacy.
“We see so much promise in our girls, promise that deserves to be nourished to ensure successful, fulfilling and positive futures for each one,” said Regional Executive Director Aggie Pappas. “We’re grateful to offer them the resources to help them grow and succeed.”
