Kim Bokamper, a linebacker and defensive end who played his entire nine-year career for the Miami Dolphins, listed his Plantation home — and sold it within three days.

The one-story house, at 301 N.W.

127th Ave., was listed for $1.149 million on Nov. 27. According to the listing agent, Dondi Hopkins with Compass Florida in Plantation, the property went under contract within three days for more than

$1.1 million, with multiple offers. It is expected to close in February, she said.

Bokamper’s 3,720-square-foot custom home was built in 1985 and recently renovated. It has four bedrooms, three baths, an office, a gourmet kitchen and a fireplace. The property sits on over a halfacre in Lago Mar Country Club, a private golf and country club with tennis, three dining venues and a pool overlooking the 18th hole.

Hopkins said all the homes there are custom and that the community is popular with professional athletes.

“I hate to leave this home, where I have lived for many years,” said Bokamper. “But after some consideration, I have decided that it is more convenient for me to live in east Fort Lauderdale. This amazing house is ready for a new family.”

Bokamper said he plans to purchase “a new golf club home.”

Exterior features of the property include 100 linear feet of water frontage and a patio overlooking the pool, lake and golf course. Bokamper said the patio is his favorite place in the home.

Hopkins said: “This house has charm — it’s not like everything else you see. It has a northern flair.”

“If a house is turnkey, they’re selling fast in Plantation,” Hopkins added.

While on the Dolphins, Bokamper played in two Super Bowls and three AFC championship games. After retiring from the NFL in 1985, he began a career in broadcasting, and is currently part of the radio broadcasts for Dolphins games.

Bokamper is also a restaurateur. He has Bokamper’s Sports Bar & Grills in Fort Lauderdale, Plantation, Miramar, Naples and Estero, as well as Bo’s Beach and The Balcony in Fort Lauderdale.

Bokamper bought the property in 1988 for $418,500.
