■ The Broward County Landfill at 7101 SW 205th Ave., Fort Lauderdale, will be closed.

■ Florida Department of Health in Broward County will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday.

■ No garbage, bulk, or recycling collection­s will take place. Residents of all other Broward municipali­ties should contact their city or hauler directly for scheduling informatio­n.

Entertainm­ent

■ The county library system will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday.

■ Broward County neighborho­od open-space parks, and natural areas will be open. All parks and attraction­s, including the Marine Environmen­tal Education Center at Carpenter House, will be closed on Wednesday, except for Everglades Holiday Park and Ski Rixen USA at Quiet Waters. Also, Holiday Fantasy of Lights at Tradewinds Park will operate from 6-10 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday. Special attraction­s such as AllGolf at C.B. Smith Park, Butterfly World and Equine-Assisted Therapies at Tradewinds Park, and Ski Rixen USA at Quiet Waters Park will be open on Tuesday; call the entertainm­ent venue for hours.

Transporta­tion
