A newly built 12,700-squarefoot mansion in Miami Beach, recently listed for $27 million, comes with something a little extra — $1 million worth of custom furniture.

The home, at 1510 W. 25th St., is on Sunset 2, one of the four Sunset Islands off the west coast of Miami Beach.

The three-story gated house has seven bedrooms, seven full and three half baths, a gym, an elevator with rooftop access, wine cave, two media rooms, an outdoor kitchen, a 78-foot pool with Bisazza tile and 151 linear feet of canal frontage.

The glass, teak and stone Tropical Contemporary home was built by Italian developer Valerio Morabito and was designed by Miami architect Max Strang with rising seas in mind: The first floor sits 13 feet above sea level.

“The house will never flood,” said Eloy Carmenate, executive director at Douglas Elliman Real Estate in Miami Beach, who holds the listing with colleague Mick Duchon. “It has a dominating presence in the neighborhood. The living area is almost at

the roofline of the other houses.”

Renowned Italian architect and interior designer Michele Bonan designed the stylish custom furniture.

And the mid-century furniture included with the sale includes a 1960s Symmetric collection sofa by Paul McCobb, a pair of 1950s Italian lounge chairs by Gigi Radice, a 1950s vintage bleached wood coffee table and a teak Spade sofa by Finn Juhl.

Morabito, who is married to

Victoria’s Secret model Vita Sidorkina, bought the lot in February 2013 for $5.6 million.

The Sunset Islands are arguably among the more prestigious islands, right after Star Island,” said Carmenate.

“The quality of this house sets it apart. It’s not built like a spec home — it took a lot longer to build than a typical house and the interior architecture is not typical Miami. It’s one of the best listings I’ve ever had — and I’ve been at it for a while.”
