MorseLife Health System has promoted Carolyn Carter to the newly created position of chair of its Parkinson’s disease therapy program. Carter joined MorseLife in 2005 and most recently was lead therapist at MorseLife Short-term Rehabilitation.

The YMCA of South Florida named Cathleen
Dean as its new director of Arts and Theatre Performance. Her focus will be on planning, opening and programing the YMCA’s Victory Black Box Theatre at the new L.A. Lee YMCA & Mizell Community Center, 1409 NW Sistrunk Blvd., Fort Lauderdale, scheduled to open in April 2021. Dean’s more than 20 years of professional experience in film and cultural arts includes film production and direction, arts education, theater management, and television reporting and production.
Funding Arts Broward recently added two new board members: Jennifer O’Flannery Anderson and Angel Burgos.
