SUV and ATV collide, killing rider in Boynton Beach on Thanksgivi­ng Day

BOYNTON BEACH — A collision between an SUV and an ATV turned deadly for a 21-year-old Boynton Beach man on Thanksgivi­ng Day.

Resley Estime was riding a Yamaha Raptor 700 south on North Seacrest Boulevard approachin­g Northwest 10th Avenue about 4:30 p.m. Thursday as Jean Alfred, 63, of Boynton Beach, was heading north in a gray 2014 Toyota Rav4, police said.

As Alfred made a left turn onto Northwest 10th Avenue, the ATV struck the front of the SUV, investigat­ors said. Boynton Beach Fire Rescue took Estime to Delray Medical Center where he later died. Alfred was uninjured.

Investigat­ors are asking anyone who witnessed the crash to call Traffic Homicide Investigat­or Aramis Grigorian at 561-732-8116.
