ADL (Anti-Defamation League) Florida announced that three Florida community leaders, including two from South Florida, will take part in the Civil Society Fellowship: A Partnership of ADL and the Aspen Institute. This Fellowship, part of the Aspen Global Leadership Network, aims to prepare and engage the next generation of community and civic leaders, activists and problem-solvers from across the political spectrum. Local participants include Jason Jenkins, senior vice president of communications and community affairs with the Miami Dolphins, and Saif Ishoof, vice president of community engagement at Florida International University.
Medical
Samy Dwek, founder and chief executive officer of White Knight Consulting and Family Office Doctor, was appointed to the board of directors for the Boca Raton Regional Hospital Foundation Inc.
Cardiologist Vianka Perez, DO, joined Tenet Florida Physician Services and opened her practice in an established TFPS cardiology office located on the campus of Palmetto General Hospital in Hialeah. Perez joins TFPS after serving as Chief Fellow in the Cardiovascular Fellowship program at Palmetto General Hospital. Prior to completing her cardiovascular fellowship, Perez completed an internal medicine residency where she also served as chief resident at Palmetto General Hospital and Nova Southeastern University.
Delray Medical Center appointed Dr. Mahdi Taha as medical director of medical oncology at the hospital. Previously, Taha worked for Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Newman, Ga., as the lead medical oncologist for head and neck, genitourinary, melanoma and salivary gland carcinomas.
Community
The South Florida Red Cross announced Tiffany Page as its new regional volunteer services officer. Since 2018, Page has been executive director for the West Michigan chapter of the American Red Cross.

Palm Beach County Property Appraiser Dorothy Jacks was elected as president of the Florida Association of Property Appraisers
Lee & Associates Commercial Real Estate Services announced the addition of Joseph Jarkesy,
CCIM, as senior vice president specializing in office landlord agency and tenant representation. Jarkesy was previously a vice president with Stiles. Additionally Lee & Associates added Aida Nolan-Rodriguez as principal specializing in healthcare and medical office real estate. Previously, Nolan-Rodriguez operated RealMed Properties, which she established in 2009.
Quadro Miami Design District announced that Rafael Montejo
was appointed as the new sales director of the, 12-story building.
Tourism
The Miami Beach Commission voted to appoint Lissette García Arrogante as the city’s new tourism and culture director. Most recently, García Arrogante worked as an arts and culture consultant for public and private visual arts organizations.

Moss Construction promoted
Edwin Perkins to president of Moss Solar. Perkins has been with Moss for 13 years, beginning as a project engineer and developing his career in roles including as director of solar initiatives, and as senior vice president of solar. Additionally, Andreas Zahariadis joined the firm as vice president of solar business administration.
Toll Brothers Southeast Florida Division President Fred Pfister was elected President of the Gold Coast Builders Association.
Finance
BankUnited announced two new additions to its commercial banking teams in Broward and Palm Beach counties. Josh Kaplan was named vice president for commercial banking, based in Fort Lauderdale. Before joining BankUnited, Kaplan was a senior business relationship manager for Wells Fargo in Fort Lauderdale. Vivian De Moraes joins BankUnited as commercial banking relationship manager, in West Palm Beach, from Flagstar Bank, where she was most recently an equipment finance officer for the bank’s Midwest and Florida markets.
Terrabank announced the promotions of Carolina Perez and Veronica Vasquez as portfolio managers to its new client services department.

Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation announced the appointment of four new board members including: Jessica Harvey, daughter of Guy Harvey and the organization’s project manager; Robert Kornahrens, founder, president and chief executive officer of Fort Lauderdale-based Advanced Roofing, Inc.; .Steve Roden, chief executive officer of Guy Harvey Enterprises; and George Schellenger, Emmy award-winning film producer and videographer and an author.
