6,000 homes for sale in Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties. Then we mapped out where you can find the typical house: at least three bedrooms, at least 1,500 square feet and a price between $400,000 and
$500,000, about the median price in South Florida.
Sorry, beach lovers: Most of them are to the west — areas like Wellington, Royal Palm Beach and the western parts of Lake Worth and Delray Beach in Palm Beach County. The Parkland and Coral Springs areas are most promising in Broward, as well as west of Hialeah or in Kendall in Miami-Dade County.

Fort Lauderdale

Pompano Beach
Located In the Cypress Harbor neighborhood near the water, this almost $500,000 home is on the larger side, coming in at almost 2,000 square feet. With three bedrooms and two bathrooms, the home had recent updates like the addition of hurricane impact windows and walk-in closets. While it doesn’t come with a pool, there is enough space to put one in.
West Palm Beach
An older home in eastern West Palm Beach sits near Pinwood Park. It has a heated pool, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The 1,797-squarefoot house, listed at $489,000, has a small cottage attached to the main property, an outdoor shower, a patio and a fenced yard.
