Applicants for board of bar examiners seat. Members of the public are invited to volunteer on or before March 21, 2022 for one vacancy on the Florida Board of Bar Examiners. A joint screening committee will recommend three nominees for the vacancy to the Supreme Court of Florida. The Supreme Court of Florida will appoint one public member to serve on the Florida Board of Bar Examiners for a three-year term starting Nov.
1, 2022, and expiring on Oct. 31, 2025. A public member volunteer must have a bachelor’s degree and be deemed qualified by the Court to assess whether applicants for admission to The Florida Bar meet the essential eligibility requirements for admission under the Rules of the Supreme Court Relating to Admissions to the Bar. Palm Beach County’s Office of Community Revitalization is accepting applications for its Neighborhood Engagement and Transformation grants program for resident-driven neighborhood improvement projects proposed within unincorporated Palm Beach County and the Lake Region municipalities of Belle Glade, South Bay and Pahokee. The application deadline is May 18.
