Lee & Associates South Florida announced the addition of Andrew Whitby as senior vice president.
Development
Miami developer Shoma Group appointed Stephanie Shojaee as its president.
Multifamily developer ZOM Living expanded its senior housing division with the hiring of Stephen Ordway as senior vice president.
The Estate Companies, a developer of multi-family units throughout South Florida, announced Alejandro Arrieta joined the firm to assist with the overall operations as a principal.
Education
Deidra Hodges was named chair of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Florida International University’s College of Engineering and Computing.
Hodges is an associate professor with expertise in photovoltaics and solar energy.
Culinary
Le Méridien Dania Beach announced the promotion of
James Rogers from executive chef of TORO Latin Kitchen & Tequila Library to executive chef of all three of the location’s restaurants, including TORO, Constellation Café, and Cabana Café. He also will oversee banquets and catering at the hotel, as well as serve as culinary consultant for DCOTA Cay, on the campus of the adjoining Design Center of the Americas.
Rusty Pelican Miami, a waterfront dining destination on Key Biscayne and part of the Specialty Restaurants Corp., announced the appointment of Executive Chef, Kyle Kingrey. Kingrey most recently was director of operations and corporate executive chef at Todd English Enterprises.
Fernando Marulanda joined La Goulue in Palm Beach as the new executive chef of the French bistro.

Moss Construction announced that Enrique Coello was named chief human resources officer.
Hospitality
Starboard Cruise Services, the vacation retailer at sea and LVMH Moët Hennessy company, announced the appointment of John McGirl as chief people experience officer.
Jennifer M. Chavez joined Hunters Run Country Club as its new assistant general manager in Boynton Beach.
Kolter Hospitality, the hospitality division of The Kolter Group, hired Cindy Flanagan as vice president of accounting and finance. Based in Delray Beach, the company specializes in hotel management, development and acquisitions in the hospitality sector.
