Mansion on Palm Island comes fully furnished
A 13,144-square-foot contemporary home, recently listed for
$43 million, should attract home buyers looking for a turnkey opportunity. That’s because the mansion is being sold fully furnished.
The two-story home, at 30 Palm Ave., sits on a 32,000-square-foot lot with 100 linear feet of frontage on Biscayne Bay. It has nine bedrooms, eight full and one half baths and is located on Palm Island, a guard-gated, man-made island in Biscayne Bay just south of Hibiscus Island.
“Palm Island offers tennis courts and a children’s playground,” said Jill Eber, a real estate agent with The Jills Zeder Group at Coldwell Banker Realty, who shares the listing with her colleague, Jill Hertzberg. “It is perfectly situated close to Miami’s finest dining, beaches, sporting arenas, museums and cultural institutions and just minutes to the Design District, downtown Miami and Miami International Airport.”
Features of the home include large-plank hardwood floors, an elevator, a gym, a movie theater with 11 leather recliners and a
132-inch projection screen, an additional second-floor family/ media room and a waterfront recreation room.
There’s also a pet room, designed to store pet toys and supplies and to provide an area for pets to “unwind and relax in comfortable beds,” Eber said.
The second-floor primary suite has walls of glass and features a large terrace overlooking the pool deck below. The primary bath has Carrara marble walls and floors, a rain shower with dual shower heads, a sunken spa tub with water jets and separate water closets.
Outside, there’s a large pool with Jacuzzi, a coral stone-paved pool deck, tropical landscaping and
a summer kitchen. Boaters will enjoy the private 100-foot wood dock that can accommodate a large vessel, with direct access to Biscayne Bay and the ocean.
Public records show that the
current owner purchased the property in October 2012 for $5 million. Eber said that he built the house, which was completed in 2013, and is now selling to downsize.
