Spineless sycophants

Some readers and letter writers steadfastly remain in denial and stubbornly plant their heads in the sand about Donald Trump’s attempted coup and derailment of democracy, and they call the Jan. 6 hearings a waste of time.

To deny that Trump and his spineless sycophants tried to illegally remain in power is to believe the earth is flat. To claim there’s more pressing news to cover is to deny that other vital issues are in the headlines. More importantly, if we don’t maintain our democracy, all other issues become irrelevant if a dictator takes power.

Join your courageous fellow Republicans who have come forward to testify under oath about what they witnessed and to see Trump for the criminal that he is.
