Please ask Gov. Ron DeSantis if he thinks kids should go to Cirque du Soleil shows. Some performers’ outfits are very revealing and I’m not sure what “extreme flexibility” teaches kids.

I have decided to run for city commissioner in Hallandale Beach this November in part because of nonsense like this. I will be the first openly gay candidate to run in the city. We need more visibility and respect in the public square. DeSantis is cashing in on 1970s hot button topics simply to grab headlines and pander to a base.
