Re: Ex-deputy acquitted of battery in teen’s head-slamming arrest

A coward with a badge slams a minor’s head into the pavement. It’s on video. A jury cannot find the coward guilty of a simple misdemeanor.

As the father of two young men of color, I’m appalled at the lack of justice, especially given the history of racism and police brutality in Broward County. This verdict erodes all confidence in the justice system.
