Watch what he does

-

Our governor has now shipped Venezuelan migrants to Massachusetts. He used taxpayer money to send these migrants on two planes to rid them of Florida.

What a slap in the face to Venezuelan residents in Florida, who have carved out successful lives here after coming from an autocratic country.

Every Venezuelan should be alarmed of what power this governor wants to exert over his people, or should I say his “subjects.”

If he had his wish, he would ship all migrants from Florida to other states, who are more welcoming. It is a political move that he thinks will resonate with his “Trumpette” followers for whom he can’t do enough. Remember the saying: Don’t watch what they say, watch what they do.

The governor’s great-great-grandmother, Luigia Colucci, emigrated to the U.S. months before the Immigration Act of 1917 took effect, which would have barred her arrival because of illiteracy. She would have been declared an “undesirable” under the law. You would think the governor would be a little more welcoming, considering his family’s background.
