4 players reportedly suspended for big showdown with ’Canes

COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS — Four key young Texas A&M stars are reportedly suspended for the Aggies’ game against the Hurricanes.

Wide receivers Evan Stewart and Chris Marshall as well as cornerback­s Smoke Bouie and Denver Harris have been suspended for violating team rules, according to 247Sports.

Those four players were key parts of the Aggies’ 2022 recruiting­class,whichwasra­nkedNo.1in the nation. Stewart, Marshall and Harris were five-star prospects and Bouie was a four-star prospect.

All four saw some playing time through Texas A&M’s first two games. Stewart is the Aggies’ No. 2 receiver with ten catches for 105 yards. Marshall has four catches for 41 yards.

Harris has five tackles and has played 77 snaps on defense through two games. Bouie has played 26 snaps but has not recorded any tackles.
