Claire Michaels Murray

Claire Michaels Murray, 91, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL

passed away September 16, 2022. Claire was born on January 19, 1931, in West Palm Beach, FL to the late Ralph and Grace Michaels. She spent 35 years as an orchestra teacher for the Broward County School System, but her true passion was playing the violin. An extraordinary violinist, she loved performing at her local church, Christ Methodist, as well as all around the country. She was predeceased by her husband of 26 years, Keith Murray, with whom she spent much time enjoying her other passion, boating, and cruising the waters around south Florida. Claire is survived by her stepsons Charles Murray and Michael Murray of Pompano Beach, FL.
