This horrible man

Donald Trump must have a load of dirt on his closest friends and supporters.

He could have done that through the FBI, CIA, Secret Service or any of the avenues a president has access to. I can’t imagine that his supporters, otherwise intelligent and accomplished men, would steadfastly stand with his lies about losing the election and pleading the fifth before a bipartisan committee.

They know who won the election. Yet they persist in perpetrating the Big Lie and fanning the flames of the MAGA movement, which has come to mean white supremacy, misogyny, and hatred. It’s very sad to see how our elected leaders and other influencers have devolved into the kind of blind obeisance they pay this horrible man. Some sort of extortion has to be going on. Why else would they be so incredibly stubborn in the face of absolute fact?

It’s a shame that power seems to be all anyone cares about, not preserving the dignity of the office, not to mention the respect of all people.

Oh, and a word for Senator Marco Rubio regarding his political attacks on Val Demings: You accuse her of voting for all the things you’re against. Well, at least she shows up to do her job and vote!
