Douglas S Campbell
Doug was born on June 23, 1937, in East Orange, N.J. He graduated from Blair Academy in Blairstown, N.J., and went on to graduate
with a B.A. Degree from St. Lawrence University in
Canton, N.Y.
Doug was commissioned there as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Army, via R.O.T.C. He
was a proud member of the A.T.O Fraternity, where he formed lifelong friendships with many of his fraternity
Karlan and Todd. Later Karlan married Robert Frank and
they had his beloved grandchildren, Robert and Lucy. Todd married Stephanie Himes. Doug felt very fortunate to have all his family living close by in Boca Raton. Doug and Diana had a wonderful 57- year marriage and traveled the world extensively. Family was the centerpiece of his life, and he always relished time spent with his children and grandchildren.
Upon retirement, Doug immersed himself in volunteer work. He started as a mentor at The Haven, a home for disadvantaged boys. When that facility closed, he served for over fifteen years as a facilitator at The Faulk Center for Counseling in Boca Raton.
Doug is survived by his loving wife, Diana, daughter Karlan, his son Todd, as well as his wonderful grandchildren Robert and Lucy, all of Boca Raton.
Doug is also survived by his sister, Vicki Staniar of Ho-Ho-Kus, N.J. and Brewster, MA, and his nephew Chris Smith of Boca Raton.

He began a very long and successful career as a stockbroker in Fort Lauderdale and, after forty years in the investment field, retired as a Senior Vice President
with Morgan Stanley. Doug qualified for the prestigious Chairman’s Club and was proud to have earned 23 consecutive years enjoying the privilege, along with other members of that elite group of top producers. Doug married Diana in 1965, and soon had two children,
