Multivehic­le crash kills motorcycli­st, shuts down lanes on I-95

A 32-year-old man was killed in a crash involving four vehicles on Interstate 95 near Atlantic Boulevard early Saturday morning.

A little before 4 a.m., a 25-yearold man driving a 2012 Honda Crosstour rear-ended the man, who was riding a motorcycle. The driver of the Honda Crosstour sustained minor injuries.

The motorcycli­st was pronounced dead at the scene by Broward Fire Rescue.

Two other vehicles were also involved in the accident and had minor injuries, according to Florida Highway Patrol, though authoritie­s did not provide the nature of their involvemen­t. The investigat­ion remains active.

The accident shut down all northbound lanes between Cypress Creek Road and Atlantic Boulevard for several hours. The scene was cleared by 10:30 a.m., according to the Florida Department of Transporta­tion’s Advanced Traveler Informatio­n System.
