Part 4: Punishing the victims

Victims of sex trafficking are frequently retraumatized by a system that was designed to investigate, indict and prosecute them for crimes they are coerced by their traffickers into committing — even when the victims are children. In the end, girls are left with few options and no help clearing their tarnished records.
