Men of Tomorrow Debonair Ball

South Florida Times - - METRO -

More than 600 young men in Palm Beach County have participated in The Men of Tomorrow (MOT) program during its 30 years of existence. The most recent group was presented to family and friends during the annual Debonair Ball on May 26 at the Palm Beach Gardens Marriott.

The MOT organization was founded by the national Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., and the Palm Beach County-based Delta Delta Lambda chapter operates the Palm Beach County program, which launched in 1988.

The organization focuses its attention of young men of African descent and their importance to society. During their participation in MOT, the young men are exposed to some of the most successful men in Palm Beach. The multi-year program for young men in grades 9 through 12 pushes college and emphasizes community service, faith and empowerment.
