Charles County Arts Alliance (CCAA) will hold a Special Call for Artists through June 1. CCAA is now accepting submissions for a Special Summer Art Show, a multi-media public exhibit, to be held July 13-Sept. 26 at the Charles County Government Building, 200 Baltimore St., La Plata. The theme is “Artists Without Limits” and will recognize local artists with disabilities. Local artists with disabilities may submit works of art on any subject to CCAA for consideration. Southern Maryland Audubon Society will meet 7:30-9 p.m. May 4 at Southern Maryland Higher Education Center, Building 1, Room 123, 44219 Airport Road, California, Md. Researchers from St. Mary’s College of Maryland will present the results of their statistical analysis of the Port Tobacco Christmas Bird Count data.
