‘CoolSculpting’ comes to Southern Maryland
Plastic surgeon Dr. Ayman Hakki’s Luxxery Medical Boutique in Waldorf is the first and only cosmetic boutique in the area to offer patients CoolSculpting, the non-surgical, non-invasive fat reduction procedure that requires minimal recovery time, according a news release.
CoolSculpting is exclusive to Luxxery and is done in a one-of-a-kind 1,000-square-foot treatment room.
“By offering CoolSculpting, I am giving patients the con- fidence they yearn for by addressing the most problematic parts of their body,” Hakki said in the release. “I always want to surround my clients with beauty and give them a luxurious experience they can’t get elsewhere. It’s important to make their experience as upscale and comfortable as possible, and that’s what we’ve done with our exclusive treatment room.”
Hakki has been featured in MTV’s docu-series “True Life: I Want Breast Implants,” Us Weekly magazine and The Washington Post.
According to the release, CoolSculpting works by using controlled cooling to eliminate stubborn fat and freezing it away permanently. The procedure targets the fat cells underneath the skin, leaving the treated cells to crystallize then die. This allows the body to naturally process the fat and eliminate dead cells, resulting in a more sculpted physique over time. Most patients can return to their normal activities immediately after the procedure, and results are seen as early as three weeks after the first treatment. The most dramatic results are usually seen between one and three months post-procedure.
