Coombs then went to the back of his truck, allegedly grabbed a metal pole and swung it at the victim, striking him several times. Coombs then got in his truck and drove away.

The officer saw small bruises on the victim’s face and a large, very dark bruise on his ribs, which he said was from getting hit with the pole, according to charging documents.

Officer’s found Coombs by his registration and went to his home. The officer spoke with Coombs and he advised that he got into an argument with the victim on Nov. 20; however, he denied any physical assault, according to charging documents.
