Charles Regional Med. Center to host 2018 Gala
The Charles Regional Medical Center Foundation will host its Annual Celebration Gala on March 24 at Swan Point Yacht and Country Club in Issue.
The event will include three levels of reservations: VIP Dinner, Gala Reservation, and “Late Night.” All offer live music from an award winning band, open bar, cuisine stations and more.
The event, regarded as one of Southern Maryland’s most entertaining fundraisers, will be posthumously recognizing the late Roberta Kieliger with the Healthcare Champion award. Kieliger was the founder of Sisters at Heart Breast Cancer Survivors Group of Southern Maryland and a passionate leader focused on supporting those affected by breast cancer.
All proceeds from the event will support the medical center’s plans for establishing the new Julie and Bill Dotson Center for Breast Health to meet the goal of providing hope, support, and care for family, friends, and community members as they cope with breast health issues.
For guests interested in round trip transportation to the event, complimentary deluxe motor coach round trip service will be available between La Plata and Swan Point Yacht & Country Club courtesy of Keller Transportation.
