for boys 6 to 17 with five one-week sessions running from June 25 to Aug. 3 at Gwynn Park High School.

The cost of the camp is $195 per week. Team and multi-week discounts are available.

for girls 8 to 14 will take place from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 9 to 13.

The academy is structured to be a complete basketball experience. Activities will include individual offensive and defensive developmen­t, film breakdown, philosophi­cal discussion, team concepts, health and wellness plans for nutrition and physical developmen­t and multiple guest speakers.

Children 5 to 8 is split up into separate half-day camps from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. or a full day camp from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Children 9 to 17 will have a full day camp from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Golf

will offer youth golf clinics from 8 to 9:15 a.m. June 25 to 28 (for children 8 to 12) and July 9 to 12 (for children 13 to 17) at White Plains Golf Course.

Learn the basic skills needed to become a confident golfer. Sessions include proper golf course etiquette, safety, rules, grip, stance, posture, chipping, putting, irons, woods and onthe-course instructio­n.

The cost is $60. Clinic includes instructio­n, contests and prizes.

Registrati­on is required. Maximum class size is eight participan­ts. Golf clinic participan­ts will receive a compliment­ary round of golf. For more informatio­n or to register, call White Plains Golf Course at 301-645-1300.

Soccer

for children 6 to 14 will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 9 to 13 at St. Mary’s College of Maryland.

The camp features technical skill training, small-sided games and World Cup-style games.

The cost is $240 per camper for full day and $125 per camper for morning only.

Each camper receives a free T-shirt and lunch. Group discounts are available.
