Ruth Regina Fitzpatrick
Ruth Regina Fitzpatrick “Dolly”, 91, wife of the late William F. Fitzpatrick Sr., passed away at her home of 61 years in Waldorf, MD, on September 27, 2018. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her parents, Joseph Walter and Regina Lillian Smith; brother, Joseph E. Smith; sister, Joan E. Baker; and daughter, Louise M. Ayers. She is survived by her sons: William F. Fitzpatrick Jr. (Kathleen), of LaPlata, MD; Joseph C. Fitzpatrick (Sarah), of Waldorf, MD; Edward F. Fitzpatrick (Sandra), of Waldorf, MD; Daniel E. Fitzpatrick, of Brandywine, MD; son-on-law, A. Earl Ayers, of Waldorf, MD; daughters: Bonnie R. Rose (Thad — deceased), of Waldorf, MD; Regina L. Anderson (Dennis II), of Waldorf, MD; Teresa A. Polen (David), of Lexington Park, MD; Catherine A. Hintze, of Mechanicsville, MD; 25 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 3 at Brinsfield Funeral Home, 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622, with prayers at 6 p.m. (www.BrinsfieldFuneral.com) A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Thursday, October 4, 11 a.m. at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, 100 Village Street, Waldorf, MD 20602. Interment will follow at Fort Lincoln Cemetery in Brentwood, MD.

Steven Hardin
Steven Hardin, 62, of Indian Head, MD, died September 17, 2018. Son of the late Douglas and Alma Lou Hardin, he lived most of his life in Beech Creek, KY. After graduation from Hughes-Kirk High School, he worked as a coal miner. Later he was a painter and had his own paint contracting businesses in KY and later in MD where he lived the last 20 years of his life. He was known for his love of dogs and passion for Harley-Davidsons.
Survivors are his siblings: Nancy Gasparovic, formerly of Issue, MD, now of Fredericksburg, VA; Danny Hardin (Gail), of Glasgow, KY; also niece and nephews: Shannon Christianson, Ladd Gasparovic, and Douglas Hardin.
Memorial Services will be Saturday, October 6, at 12 Noon, preceded by visitation at 11 a.m. at La Plata United Methodist Church; then October 26, 1 p.m. at Ebenezer Baptist, his home church. Burial will be private.

Catherine Anne Cooksey Earle
Catherine Anne Cooksey Earle of Springhill, passed away September 10, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Grace Vernetta Wise Cooksey and Robert Vernon Cooksey of Cobb Island. Born in Washington, DC, on August 8, 1932, she attended St. Mary’s Academy and St. Mary’s College.
Before retirement, she was a legal secretary for the La Plata firm of Barbour and Zvernia. She enjoyed the beach, gardening, her dogs Mandy and Sadie, her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Earle Sr.; son, Robert Michael Earle; sisters: Mary Margaret Bowling; Grace Elizabeth Bowling; and brothers: Robert Vernon Cooksey Jr. and Edward Francis (DiDi) Cooksey.
She is survived by her sons: William H. Earle Jr. (Susan), of Charlotte Hall; David Michael Earle, Bel Alton; John Edward Earle (Julie), Charlotte Hall; grandchildren: Katharine Cecelia Earle Kaufmann (Mark), David Michael Earle Jr. (Sarah), Kevin Edward Earle, Lauren Grace Escobales (David), Michelle Renee Earle; and great grandchildren: Nathan Tyler Kaufmann, Brantley Ryan Kaufmann, Benjamin Elmer Earle and Rachel Lynn Earle.
Family and friends to gather on October 4, from 6 p.m. until time for Memorial Service to begin at 7 p.m. at Raymond Funeral Service, P.A., 5635 Washington Ave., La Plata, MD 20646. Burial will be private in Issue, MD.

Marcus A. Bradley
Marcus A. Bradley, 34, of Morgantown, WV, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, October 3rd at Hastings Funeral Home in Morgantown. Friends and family will also be received at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 3150 Middletown Rd., Waldorf, MD, on Thursday, October 4th at 4 p.m. for a Memorial Service.
