New Hope to host men’s health forum

Victory Chapel to host quarter auction

Christ Church Wayside to host fall dinner
is hosting its annual fall dinner on Saturday, Oct. 20, from noon to 5 p.m. at the church, 13050 Rock Point Road (Route 257), in Newburg. The dinner features crab cakes, baked ham, country ham, sweet potatoes, green beans, kale, turnips, coleslaw, rolls and butter, coffee and lemonade. Waldorf church holding Holy Spirit course
100 Village St. in Waldorf, is holding a six-week course titled “The Gift,” a life in the Spirit course. The teachings are rooted in the Bible and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Two sessions will be offered: Saturday mornings beginning Oct. 20, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. (includes breakfast) and Tuesday evenings, starting Oct. 23, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. (includes dinner). St. Paul’s Parish holding ham, oyster dinner
13500 Baden Westwood Road, is hosting a ham and oyster dinner by Thompson’s Seafood Catering from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 21. The menu includes fried oysters, glazed and stuffed ham, parsley potatoes, coleslaw, sweet potatoes, turnips, green beans, pickled beets, applesauce, rolls and beverages. Alexandria Chapel to hold ‘Trunk-Or-Treat’
