The forum will be moderated by Julie A. Walton, director of the Charles County Community Mediation Center.

National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association, Chapter 1972, will meet at the Waldorf West Branch Library at 1 p.m., at 10405 O’Donnell Place in Waldorf. La Plata Town Council will meet at 7 p.m. at town hall, 305 Queen Anne St. in La Plata.
The Charles County Planning Commission will meet at 6 p.m. in the Charles County Government Building, at 200 Baltimore St. in La Plata.
Commissioner Amanda M. Stewart (D) will hold a public meeting at 6:30 p.m. at the Waldorf West Library, at 10405 O’Donnell Place in Waldorf.
Wednesday, Sept. 25
A public work session for the Indian Head Town Council will be held at 3:30 p.m. at the Indian Head Town Hall, at 4195 Indian Head Highway in Indian Head.
The Greater Accokeek Civic Association will hold its next regular membership meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 25, in the meeting room of the Accokeek Branch Library, at 15773 Livingston Road in Accokeek (venue change is due to schedule conflict with Accokeek VFD.) The gust speaker will be Karen Jensen Miles, land use and facilities manager for the Alice Ferguson Foundation, who will discuss plans for the construction of an underground water reserve tank in the Bryan Point Road area.
