The Chargers trailed the visiting Cavaliers midway through the third quarter, but scored 22 unanswered points to remain unbeaten through five weeks to win the SMAC Chesapeake Division contest on Friday night.

Calvert (2-3, 1-1 SMAC Chesapeake) scored with roughly seven minutes left in the third quarter to take a 14-13 lead, but it was all Lackey (5-0, 2-0) from that point on.

Jonathan Thompson rushed for 218 yards and three touchdowns on 25 carries for the Chargers, while Russell Echard completed 8 of 11 passes for 120 yards and a score, while also adding a rushing touchdown.
