Pilkerton, Banks represent Kutztown University football

Kutztown University (Pa.) has announced 87 student-athletes will represent its football team for the 2019 season.

Among the student-athletes are redshirt senior tight end Jack Pilkerton, a La Plata High School graduate from La Plata, and redshirt freshman wide receiver Christion Banks, an Oxon Hill High School graduate from Brandywine.

Kutztown opened its season Sept. 7 with a 54-16 win over Assumption College (Mass.). Pilkerton had five catches for 57 yards and two touchdowns in the contest.
