The coronavirus pandemic delayed production on Season 41 of this iconic reality competition series, but “Survivor” producers took advantage of that on-hold period to freshen the format of their show, which included making the season markedly shorter: 26 days, instead of the traditional 39. Set for the ninth time in Fiji, the season premiered last September with 18 new contestants, among them NFL veteran Danny McCray. Tonight’s three-hour finale will crown the newest “Survivor” champion. Jeff Probst hosts.
8 p.m. on LIFE Movie: The Enchanted Christmas Cake
In the midst of grieving the recent loss of her grandmother, Gwen (Erica Durance, “Smallville”) struggles to run the bakery the two of them used to manage together, while also trying to summon some Christmas spirit. Most critically, though, she must figure out her grandmother’s magical recipe for a Christmas cake that has become something of a local legend. When an elite chef comes to town to film a seasonal special, though, she agrees to help the producer (Robin Dunne). Brandon Ludwig and Kyana Teresa also star.

Season 1 of this female-driven sci-fi adventure concludes with two back-to-back episodes. In the first, the Hemlock crew travels to the ocean world of Kelp to rescue Dr. Grieves (Natasha O’Keeffe). who is being used as an unwilling energy source by Commonworld leaders Rebecca Harper and Dr. Benedict Lee (Parminder Nagra, Craig Parkinson).
