WALDORF — Patricia “Kaye” Webb, age 74, of Waldorf, Maryland, passed away peacefully while at home with her family on November 16, 2021 after almost a year long courageous battle with brain cancer.

Born on March 18, 1947 in Augusta, GA, she was the youngest daughter to the late William Spires and Frances Adams Tomms. She is preceded in death by her brother Williams Spiers.

Kaye and her late husband, Stephen Webb, were married for 47 years before his passing in 2013. They have two sons, Eric L. Webb and his wife Danielle, Brian L. Webb and his wife Kristen. Kaye was a proud grandmothe­r to six grandchild­ren, Joseph, Andrew, Chase, Elise, Zachary and Alexander. Kaye also had one great grandchild, Aviana.

Kaye and Stephen lived in Waldorf, MD together until his death in 2013. After Stephen’s death, Kaye continued to embrace life and make the most of every minute with her family and friends. Kaye was a wonderful wife and dedicated mother who also proudly served her community and found great joy in helping others. Kaye volunteere­d as Treasurer at Charles Regional Medical Center Ladies Auxiliary for the past 18 years. Kaye also found great joy in putting her sewing and artistic abilities to good use by volunteeri­ng with Project Linus, Charles County Chapter, providing handmade blankets for children in need. Kaye was also a member of a crochet group, Happy Hookers.

Kaye was well known for her sense of humor and unselfish willingnes­s to help others in need. Her smile and positive outlook on life will be missed but never forgotten.
