Roadfeldt to play CSM
Holly Roadfeldt will perform a free concert 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 23, at the Leonardtown Campus. Ship disaster commemorated
St. Clement’s Island Museum will host the annual Black Diamond Disaster Weekend — An American Civil War Event 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 23, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 24. On April 23, 1865, 87 lives were lost when the Black Diamond troop barge was hit by the steamer “Massachusetts” in the Potomac River near St. Clement’s Island during the hunt for John Wilkes Booth. Food truck fair scheduled
The Hughesville Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad will hold a food truck fair 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 23, at 15245 Prince Frederick Road in Hughesville. Six food trucks are scheduled to attend.
