Spin to Win Rodeo - - Fial Thoughts -

26 YEARS OLD LIVES IN WITTMANN, AZ HEADER

When did you start roping?

Since 5 or 6.”

How did you get started?

My dad. We rope together. He taught me from day one. Everything I know.”

First big win?

I was on a grey horse with my dad, about 8 years old, and I won $3,500. I was in this town when I did. Here in Wickenburg.”

What do you do when you’re not roping?

Right now I mainly train horses and I ride outside horses for people. I have my own stud right now and we’re trying to raise babies out of him. But we mainly rope for a living and train horses for people.”

Any challenges you’ve faced as a roper?

I cut my finger off when I was 18. My mom told me I wasn’t allowed to rope anymore, just play with dolls. That didn’t work.”

Got a favorite horse?

My favorite horse is Borracho. He’s my go to mount for both the breakaway and head horse. He’s qualified me for the American Semi Finals twice in the breakaway and taken me to many pay windows this summer. He was dang sure a diamond in the rough!”

What’s your favorite Noble Outfitters product?

The boots. I noticed that when I first put them on, they felt broken in already.”
