White Chapel Memorial Gardens - in Colorado, pheasants in Kansas and exotic animals in Africa. John Bill also harvested many deer and turkey on his farm.

His biggest joy was his family. He was very proud of them and their accomplish­ments. If one of his children or grandchild­ren were performing on the ball field, volleyball court, basketball court, ice hockey rink, soccer pitch or the band, dance or music stage he and Jean were there. They were their biggest supporters.

He was proceeded in death by his parents; his sister, Ruth Greer Bruce Dawson; and most notably his loving wife of 67 years, Jean.

John Bill is survived by his daughter, Joan Cologna and her husband, Jim, of Springfiel­d, MO; two sons, Jim Greer and his wife, Becky, of Edmond, OK and John T. Greer and his wife, Shari, of Wimberley, TX. Six grandchild­ren, James Greer and his wife, Andrea, Shannon Frizzell, Joseph Greer and his wife Lupita, Juliana Cologna Hudson and her husband, Mark, Jenalee Cologna Edwards and her husband, David, and Jeremy Cologna; seven great-grandchild­ren, Jackson Greer, Emily Greer, Greer Hudson, Luke Hudson, Julian Guzman, Jolene Greer-Rodriguez, and Kayson Edwards; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfathe­r, great-grandfathe­r, and father-in-law. We celebrate his life and his accomplish­ments and will cherish his memory for the rest of our lives.

Funeral services for John William Greer will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Day Funeral Home, Marshfield, Missouri. Masonic Services, conducted by Glen Cron of Webster Lodge #98, will begin at 5 p.m., Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Day Funeral Home followed by visitation until 7 p.m. Burial will follow the funeral service at Marshfield Cemetery, Marshfield, Missouri. The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Marshfield Lion’s Club or Webster Lodge #98. Online condolence­s may be made at www dayfh com.

SPRINGFIEL­D - David R. Dressler age 83 passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 18th, 2023. He was surrounded by his wife of 58 years, Rita, and his children Michael, Dennis and his wife Aileen, Laura and her husband Charlie, Matthew and his wife Mary, and John and his wife Liz. David is survived by 9 grandchild­ren and 3 great-grandchild­ren. David also left behind his beloved dog Ruby.

David grew up in “Dogtown” St. Louis, Missouri with his five siblings. David was a devout Catholic and attended Saint James grade school, Christian Brothers High School and Benedictin­e College. He and the love of his life, Rita Jean, moved to Springfiel­d Missouri. David was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. He enjoyed a 50year successful career in insurance.

He was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed coaching soccer and cheering on his St Louis Cardinals. He loved spending time at the lake and being out in nature with a dog at his side, but his favorite moments were spent surrounded by his family and friends always with a story to share. David will be sorely missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri.

The Rosary will be held from 5:30-6:00 PM followed by the Visitation from 6:00-7:30 PM on Wednesday, December 27th at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, 1947 East Seminole St. The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 28th at 10:30 AM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 2818 E. Bennett. Graveside services will follow at Resurrecti­on Cemetery, 4528 West Division St., Springfiel­d, MO.

SPRINGFIEL­D - On December 4 2023 Carl Dean Enlow II (51) passed away doing what he loved, riding his motorcycle. Always one to give a stranger a compliment in passing. He had a big heart full of love, he was fiercely loyal to his family, friends and those he loved. He was survived by his loving mother Joyce Enlow, Brother Adam Enlow and father Carl Enlow Sr. As well as his children Justin Enlow, Thomas Enlow, Kyle Smith, Dean Enlow, Cheyenne Enlow and their families. Our world is darker without him and we will carry his light in our hearts.
