No. 1 Korda is the favorite, but these 10 players could pull big upset at US Open
As the 79th U.S. Women's Open draws near, a number of noteworthy players have conquered the 36-hole qualifying gauntlet. A total of 23 sites across the U.S. and three international qualifiers were held from April 15 to May 20. The field of 156 will compete May 30 to June 2 at Lancaster Country Club in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. It will be the second time the club has hosted the championship.
Birdie Kim was the last player to win the U.S. Women's Open after advancing through qualifying in 2005. Last year at Pebble Beach Golf Links, 18 qualifiers made the 36-hole cut.

OZARKS BASEBALL CLASS 3-4 SECTIONAL RESULTS
Forsyth 11, Lamar 4 — Class 3 sectional
Down 4-2 after three innings, the Panthers scored nine unanswered runs to advance to the state quarterfinals.
Braxton Gross led Forsyth by going 2 for 4 with two RBI, two runs scored and a home run. Tristan Hunter was 1 for 3 with three runs scored with his one hit being a triple.
Hunter pitched in relief, throwing 4.2 innings while allowing one hit and striking out eight. He threw 91 total pitches.
Forsyth will host Licking on Thursday at 5 p.m. for a shot at qualifying for its second state semifinal in school history and the first since 2000.
Blair Oaks 7, Logan-Rogersville 0 — Class 4 sectional
Logan-Rogersville was limited to three hits and couldn't push any runs across while being shut out in a sectional matchup with state-ranked Blair Oaks.
Blair Oaks starter Jacob Tellman, fresh off throwing a two-hitter in the Falcons' district championship win, allowed three in 6.2 innings while also striking out 10.
Nevada 7, Aurora 3 — Class 4 sectional
A four-run fourth inning broke a 3-3 tie and Nevada held on to advance to the Class 4 quarterfinals where it will play Blair Oaks. Nevada's relief pitching surrendered three hits over the final 4.2 innings while also striking out 10.
Strafford took on the Forsyth Panthers at Strafford on April 23.
