TV HIGHLIGHTS
Movie: A Few Good Men, 8 PM on SUN; 11 PM on SUN: A brash young Navy lawyer and a by-the-book colleague (Tom Cruise, Demi Moore) defend two closemouthed Marines accused of murdering a fellow soldier deemed to have “broken the code.” Base commander Nathan R. Jessep (Jack Nicholson), who regards himself as untouchable, stonewalls the attorneys. Kevin Bacon, Kevin Pollak and Kiefer Sutherland also star in director Rob Reiner’s 1992 version of Aaron Sorkin’s play, which picked up four Oscar nominations.
Movie: Chasing Waterfalls, 9 PM on HALL: Aspiring photographer Amy Atwater (Cindy Busby) is over the moon when a noted magazine for outdoors enthusiasts assigns her to shoot one of America’s most fabled waterfalls, but first she’ll have to prove it even exists. Joined by rugged guide Mark North (Christopher Russell),
Amy puts in long days trekking through remote wilderness areas searching for the elusive natural wonder. In the process, she starts to fall for Mark and grow closer to his young daughter in this 2021 romance. Cassidy Nugent co-stars.
Movie: Relic, 9 PM on SHOW: Jake Gyllenhaal is among the producers of Natalie Erika James’ critically praised 2020 Australian horror thriller, which opens with the abrupt disappearance of Edna (Robyn Nevin), an elderly family matriarch suffering from dementia. Upon receiving the news, Edna’s daughter Kay
(Emily Mortimer) and granddaughter Sam (Bella Heathcote) travel to their remote family home, which they discover seemingly abandoned, locked from the inside and filled with Post-It reminders for Edna on the furniture.
