Looking for something to do this weekend? Here are some of the events happening in Clark and Champaign Counties, starting today.
Comedy Magic Show
The National Trail Parks and Recreation District will be hosting a free comedy magic show this morning at Snyder Park.
The show will take place at from 11 to 11:45 a.m. at the Snyder Park Band Shell, located at 1900 Park St. in Springfield.
The fast-paced show will allow for audience participation.
The show is open to all ages.
Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets for seating.

Second Saturday & Sidewalk Sales in Downtown Urbana
The Urbana Downtown Merchants Association will host Second Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday.
The event will take place in the downtown Urbana Square.
Downtown sellers will include The Vintage Traveler, The Shop Around The Corner, General Store Anthony Grace Boutique, Lily’s Garden Kaleidoscope, Guild Galleries Interiors & Gifts, and more.
Local food will be available from Mumford’s Potato Chips and Deli, The Depot Coffeehouse, Carmazzi’s Cafe, and more.

River Bash 2021
Mad River Adventures will host their annual River Bash this Saturday.
The event will begin at 6 p.m. at 5605 Old Lower Valley Pike in Springfield.
The cost is $10 per person. Live music will include Ryan Fyffe, Human Clay, and Metal Militia. Free primitive tent camping is allowed on premises.
Food trucks on site will be Tommy’s Double Barrel BBQ, and Slice of Heaven Pizza.

America’s Prince and Princess Ohio State Open Pageant
The America’s Prince and Princess Ohio State Open Pageant will take place on Sunday in Springfield.
The event will begin at 10 a.m. at 100 S. Fountain Ave. inside the Courtyard by Marriott.
Categories of competition will include Natural Beauty, Glitz Beauty, Natural Outfit of Choice, Glitz Outfit of Choice, Casual Wear Optional, and more.
Age division queens, kings, princes, and princesses will be crowned. Money prizes can be won as well.
Contestants competing in a 2021 America’s Prince and Princess State Pageant will receive $50 off of costs for participating in America’s Prince and Princess Nationals, which take place Oct. 24.
Age divisions range from infants to over 70 years old.
To register, send a $50 deposit via Paypal to Americasprinceandprincess@ gmail.com and include the contestant’s name and age.
