The Goldbergs, 8:30 PM on Ch. 22 and Ch. 9: It’s Thanksgiving, and no one crushes Turkey Day like Beverly Goldberg (Wendi Mclendon-covey) — though, with the loss of Murray, this holiday feels a bit different. Geoff (Sam Lerner) and Erica (Hayley Orrantia) are stressed over the new baby and, even more worrisome, an unexpected Goldberg relative arrives. With everyone highly suspicious of this unforeseen visitor, things are likely to go off the rails at any moment in the new episode “Another Turkey in the Trot.”

Documentary Now!, 10 PM on IFC; 4 AM on IFC: Inspired by Agnes Varda’s “Gleaners and I” and “Beaches of Agnes,” celebrated French filmmaker Ida Leos (Liliane Rovère) searches for why she no longer experiences “frisson” — the goosebumps that have always been her guide. Without the sensation, she is lost in a sea of uncertainty and meaningless observation through a slightly askew camera lens in the Season 4 finale episode “Trouver Frisson.” Ronald Guttman and Gary Kraus also star.
