Northwestern seeks rep to serve on SCCTC board
The Northwestern Local Schools Board of Education will appoint a new representative to the Springfield-clark Career Technical Center’s (SCCTC) Board of Education. After six years of dedicated service, Pam Mustovich has resigned as the Northwestern’s representative on the SCCTC board.
Community members who would like to be considered for this position should apply by submitting a letter of interest and resume. Applications should be delivered or emailed to the Board Office by 4 p.m., Nov. 28 and marked Attention: Northwestern Treasurer.
Members of the SCCTC board are appointed by the member school district boards of education. Members of the board may either be a current elected board member of a school district board that is a member of the CTC or an individual who has experience or knowledge regarding the labor needs of the state and region with an understanding of the skills, training, and education needed for current and future employment opportunities in the state. The appointing board may give preference to individuals who have served as staff members at a CTC or business advisory committee. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, preferred district residents, and registered voters.
