Northweste­rn seeks rep to serve on SCCTC board

The Northweste­rn Local Schools Board of Education will appoint a new representa­tive to the Springfiel­d-clark Career Technical Center’s (SCCTC) Board of Education. After six years of dedicated service, Pam Mustovich has resigned as the Northweste­rn’s representa­tive on the SCCTC board.

Community members who would like to be considered for this position should apply by submitting a letter of interest and resume. Applicatio­ns should be delivered or emailed to the Board Office by 4 p.m., Nov. 28 and marked Attention: Northweste­rn Treasurer.

Members of the SCCTC board are appointed by the member school district boards of education. Members of the board may either be a current elected board member of a school district board that is a member of the CTC or an individual who has experience or knowledge regarding the labor needs of the state and region with an understand­ing of the skills, training, and education needed for current and future employment opportunit­ies in the state. The appointing board may give preference to individual­s who have served as staff members at a CTC or business advisory committee. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, preferred district residents, and registered voters.
