‘Music is Magic’

The Springfield Fortnightly Musical Club’s program will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 20 at Northridge United Methodist Church, 4610 Derr Road. The theme for this year’s programs is “Music is Magic.”

The program will feature student members of the club as well as students of the club teachers. The program will feature piano students: Kennedi Cook, Presley Cook, Hannah Dingledine, Charlotte Grubbs, Zachary Grubbs, Sierra Sundell-turner, Grace Snyder, Ollie Sutter, Walter Kaleb, and Noah Yale. Meah Ashworth will sing and play ukulele. The teachers presenting their students include Mary Anne Blazer, Christina Darding, Marsha Holcomb, Kristen Kosey and Shirley Tennant.

There will be a reception for the students, families and those attending the program. All members and guests of the Springfield community are invited to attend. Members can also pay their dues for the year. The next Fortnightly program will be Feb. 19 with a program by a men’s group in the community.
